Varvara Yakovenko of Russia currently holds the Miss Intercontinental crown, winning the title on 29 January 2026 in Sahl Hasheesh, Egypt. She also claimed the Miss Intercontinental Europe and Miss Photogenic special awards on the same night.
The runner-up line-up included Lorena Suarez Lara of Cuba (1st), Vanessa Wenk of Thailand (2nd), Faidah Kassim of Tanzania (3rd), Christina Vanhefflin of the Philippines (4th), and Cristiane Guerrero Marques das of Ecuador (5th). The Philippines’ placement extended the country’s streak to 12 consecutive editions in the competition’s final rounds.
Miss Intercontinental is one of pageantry’s longer-running international titles, founded in 1971 and historically known for placing heavy weight on stage presence, personality, and the interview segment alongside physical presentation. Egypt has now hosted the competition seven times.
